How does the SBI clerk get promoted?

In the initial stage, the SBI clerk will work as a junior clerk. The SBI clerk will have to complete the training which happens for six months. He will also have to clear an examination. The SBI clerk then moves from the junior to the level of an officer.

The SBI clerk needs to work for five years to be transferred after he clears the recruitment examination. The first promotion happens after 2 to 3 years.
